Update & Contest & Puppy Cuteness

It's been a while since I blogged here! And I'm so zonked from the release (yes, still) a new puppy (and I'm totally puppy obsessed right now) and an all around crazy busy life, OMG, is it almost Halloween?

I'm running a contest right now. All you have to do is sign up for my newsletter for a chance to win an advanced readers copy of The Seduction of His Wife. A marriage in trouble story, everyone needs one of these! You know you want to.

Also, I have an ARC to give away for The Surrender of A Lady (I got some extras a couple weeks ago). What's the best way to do that? Another contest on my website, readers, or if we have a significant amount of comments here, maybe here's the place? You tell me.

I'll also be posting the first chapter for The Seduction of His Wife on November 1st! So be sure to stop by my website.

And because everyone needs some puppy cuteness, I bring you Scarlett! More like Queen of Sheba :)

Are you dressing up for Halloween this year?

Oh, she's adorable! Must close my eyes to avoid temptation. Do.Not.Need.Puppy!

In a couple of days, I'll be drawing names for SOAL from MY website contests too. Some people are going to score!

Your covers are GORGEOUS!

Beautiful beautiful puppy! Has hubby fallen in love yet??

Halloween! I am dressing up this year. I'm going as the crazy lady from the house that hasn't picked up their leaves.

Awwww. To be a natural redhead like that...

Yes, I'm dressing up. Robin Hood. I like to pick outfits where the weapons are awesome.

Hellion, Robin Hood?! That is awesome. I'm feeling blues about not dressing up for the second year in a row. We used to do it at the last place I worked at. No one here likes Halloween like I do :(

JK OMG that reminds me of a friend that dresses up as her husbands worst nightmare every year! She came to work once all disheveled and lipstick smeared and 1940's high rimmed, flying glasses, in a bathrobe and it was just hilarious!

Hellion, she is a darling with her natural red hair. And her nature suits the fiery colour!

Maggs, it's. too. hard. to. resist :)

Tiffany!!!!
Remember me? You know, the Lady that spent her 10th Anniversary bundled with your book, while her hubby laid semi-consious in a hotel room with a cold? Well if that don't qualify me for a win, I'm not sure what will! LOL!

BTW: I'm a cat person myself, but looking at your Puppy, maybe I could add one more little bundle of joy to Friedman household...Now, excuse me while I go CONVINCE the man of the house....
All the Best,
Melanie

I think here's a great place to get rid of that extra ARC you have on your hands, LOL.
I'm not dressing up for Halloween this year, I don't think I've dressed up since I stopped trick or treating, so why mess with my streak?
Your puppy is so cute! She looks like a little princess, or a potential Queen of the house.

Aww, Tiff, that picture gives me serious puppy envy. We keep talking about getting one, but it seems wise to wait until we are no longer sitting nephew #2's St. Bernard. Not much room here for a pup with Indy around.

I don't wear costumes, but I always look forward to seeing the Grands all decked out. The oldest is going to be Cleopatra this year, one more sign she's growing up.

I see blogger ate my lunch comment! *shakes fist at blogger*

Ely, she's just the sweetest thing!

Melanie, How could I forget you! I'm so glad you loved Jinan's story! And I have a cat, too! He's 15 lbs, dog is currently 5! I have some great pics of the two.

Barbara, she is totally a PRINCESS! No costumes since your trick o' treatin' days!!!

Janga, a St. Bernard! I am picturing the hair and drool and cringing. LOL They are a lovely dog though. When we got this dog it had to be non shedding after having a Bernese mountain dog.

Can I just say that your puppy is just too cute for words. I've been looking at all of the pictures you've posted and I'm seriously envious. I want a puppy!

Unfortunately all of my friends are working this year so I won't be dressing up. :( There is always next year though.

Danielle,
Scarlett is too cute to not share with the whole freaking world.

I'm not doing any parties this weekend, either. My babysitting my friends dog (a year and half old cocker spaniel) and getting my own kids read for trick or treating Sunday night!

Aw, adorable puppy cuteness! (or is that redundant?)

For Halloween, I'm going to the block party in my neighborhood so at most I'm going to dress in all black (have a long black leather coat that works great) to be some sort of urban fantasy heroine (working on getting knives to strap to my thigh).

Keep a close watch on your puppy and the cocker spaniel; with all the kids running around in costume and chocolate candies, dogs can really get freaked out (by the former) or poisoned (by the latter).

Sheree, sounds awesome for a costume. And my bro is taking the kids this weekend. So it's me, hubby and two pups. It's gonna be a great time!
